Impulse Command – True Stereo Analog Synth

It’s astonishing that new analog synthesizers are still popping up like mushrooms. Not that you have to buy “every” single instrument – certainly not. But such handy desktop synths with a sequencer are a temptation. Here is the new Analogue Solutions Impulse Command …

Analogue Solutions’ trademark is simple and clear: Only “real” analog circuits are used. Hardware LFOs, hardware envelopes, etc. For the best possible analog sound.

Ok, ok, “design” is not the biggest plus of this British company. But Tom Carpenter’s synths offer a lot of sound for a small price. Which might be more important than design features.

The internal MIDI LOOP SEQUENCER is used to record melodic loops and will always runs parallel with the analogue STEP SEQ, which is primarily used for modulation. Both sequencers benefit from the radical REORDER! function that affects the stepping order …

All diesen (alten wie neuen) “großartigen” Instrumenten ist Great Synthesizers gewidmet. _________________________________________________________ In 2005 composer Arvo Pärt said: “Playing one tone really well is enough”. In other words, it is sufficient to play one tone 'beautifully'. I agree with that. All musical efforts are focused on the sound itself. Although I studied classical music (piano and drums), it’s the electronic sound that inspires me. Synthesizers are the epitome of new sounds and exciting tonal spheres. Today, many companies produce high-quality - excellent! - synthesizers: Doepfer, Cwejman, MacBeth, Moog, GRP, Synthesizers.com, COTK, Studio Electronics, John Bowen and others. It's their products I'm really interested in ... apart from Vintage Synthesizers, which I have been collecting for 20 years. Subsequent to our former websites Bluesynths and Blogasys, Peter Mahr and I have now created GreatSynthesizers. We hope you like it.
