Current Mono Lancet owners are in a relaxed position: Vermona’s new Mono Lancet ’15 differs only slightly from its predecessor. The LFO has been expanded (6 waveforms instead of 3) and USB has been added (for firmware upgrades). That’s it! Ah, yes … the Mono Lancet ’15 now uses a DC adapter.
In our humble opinion, the Mono Lancet upgrade could have benn a little more generous. What about on-board PWM and a multimode VCF (aka Filter Lancet)? Be that as it may, the Mono Lancet ’15 remains a powerful analog synth with a remarkable, stunning sound!
