Two PS-3100 side by side … played individually and also simultaneously (via MIDI keyboard).
Two PS-3100 controlled by the simple (but wonderful) Elka Synthex step sequencer. Oberheim OB-8 contributes some single string notes …
… the polyphonic synthesizer 3100 is an instrument full of analog warmth and character. The following instruments are part of this recording: Synthex, Pro-One, JD-800.
Full polyphony … wide-range LFO … VCA modulation … the PS-3100 is full of interesting details.
Yamaha CS-60 lead sound, PS-3100 pad with triple resonators (… adding the typical PS-character to the mix).
Korg FX-sound (we could call it WASP or INSECT) and PPG Wave 2.2 (stereo) bells.
PS-3100 and Elke Synthex. The Synthex is famous for its laser-harp sound, for its rendez-vous sync-sound and for its wonderful choir- and bass-sounds. But it is able to produce excellent soft strings as well … lush pads, while the PS-3100 adds some sharpness and organic filter movements to the mix.
Weird stuff – sololine with crazy LFO modulation (VCO / VCF / VCA) …
3x PS-3100 tracks (like a PS-3300?), with filter sweeps and resonator- and amplifier-modulation.
Two legends side by side … Korg PS-3100 and Yamaha CS-80.
