A rarity, found in a synthesizer report from October 1978. Simmons’ Synthcheck review of the Jupiter-4 is illustrated with a photo of the original prototype. That instrument had a quite different design to the Jupiter-4 as we know it. What a beautiful machine!
I did not use any presets. For each track a new sound was programmed and of course not saved. ;) I usually do not save any sounds as this forces me to create always new sounds for new tracks. Although this takes a while but makes fun and makes every program sound unique. Roland’s TR-808 triggers the Arpeggiator and the Sample/Hold frequency of the JP-4.
